The CZRI has the largest private analysis laboratories in northern New Brunswick. The primary mandate of the Laboratories and Analysis Services is to provide clients with reliable and accurate test results in order to ensure that they are meeting the standard requirements of various government agencies in terms of their products and by-products, the water they use, or the effluent they discharge.

We conduct analyses in a variety of categories using recognized methods and leading-edge equipment. Our services are available to individuals, government and private agencies, to peat, aquaculture and marine products industries, and engineering firms. Our analysis activities also support the CZRI’s own research projects.

The Laboratories and Analysis Services operate in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard for quality management systems. Our services received accreditation from the Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation Inc. (CALA) for specific analyses pursuant to that standard and recognized by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). This accreditation constitutes official recognition that our analysis services provide reliable results meeting international requirements.

Our multidisciplinary team’s commitment to quality and competence helps create a relationship of trust with our clients. The search for excellence in the provision of our services is the driving force behind our constant efforts to adapt and integrate new analytical methods and techniques in order to meet new government and industry requirements.
