The research being conducted by the CZRI Aquaculture team can be broken down into five major themes:
Theme 1: Understanding the interactions between endogenous and exogenous factors on the performance of aquatic organisms
Theme 2: Biochemical adaptation of aquatic organisms to temperature variations
Theme 3: Use of fatty acids as trophic markers and indicators of environmental quality
Theme 4: Development and optimization of methods for analyzing marine lipids
Theme 5: Nutrition and physiology of cultured fish
Each of these research themes involves a series of research projects. Summaries of these projects, including the names of the research, industrial and financial partners involved, are presented in project info sheets. Click here to consult these sheets, indexed by species.
