The CZRI is an independent agency affiliated with the Université de Moncton, Shippagan Campus (New Brunswick), administered by a ten-member board of directors representing organizations and businesses involved in fishery and marine products, peat and peatlands, and aquaculture, as well as academic circles.
The General Assembly of the CZRI is composed of members of the Board of Directors. It meets once a year to ratify the Institute’s major program directions.
